So, MLS starts in a matter of weeks, Word Cup 2010 in 98 days and counting, and there's still a Player's Union discussion going on. Seriously you guys? MLS Brass needs to man up and pay the players more. I mean, every other sport pays RIDICULOUS salaries for rookies and smaller name players. I realize those are more "mainstream" sports, but seriously, you can get just as drunk and watch soccer. Ask the Texian Army.
Ok, so the USA played the Netherlands yesterday. De Jong shoulda been thrown out quicker than Rico Clark did after he kicked Carlos Ruiz. Stuie's out 6 weeks at Bolton for a broken leg too. Oh, and for Rico, he still hasn't seen field time. Kind of a bust for that Germany move, eh?
The Men in Orange went on a college tour and solidly beat every team they played. (group: No shit.) But if I remember right, Tyler Deric let in a goal. Way to blow the shut-out (j/k). The midfield doesn't look like the wreckage we thought it may be after the departure of Stu and Rico, and E-Rob rejoining the back 4 makes it just as strong in the championship runs a few years ago.
Speaking of Championships, how come we have 2 cups and still no official "I'm not gonna share, neener neener" home for the Dynamo? I realize there's talks with a private investor for the Galleria area and the city/county/sports authority for the East side location, but talk is cheap. Lets get the ball (unintended pun) rolling. Also, bring the band back. Seattle has no right to say they had the first band, fuckers.

Rico's been carrying an injury, but he did make the bench last weekend for Frankfurt.
