That should be a new spin-off movie documenting the Dynamo success against Chivas USA.
Well, Ngwenya was a no-go for yesterday due to his transfer papers being held up. FIFA's trying to get that pushed along as quickly as possible. Mullan played up front with Oduro instead. Ashe, Cameron, Davis and newcomer Lovell Palmer filled the midfield, and the Usual Suspects held up the back like and the pipes. G-Cam got the scoring started in the 12th with a nice goal, but Lovell Palmer netted a howler in the 28th(?) that is destined for Goal of the Week and the highlight reels. Oduro put the nail in the coffin in the 2nd half with a tap in, delivered by Mullan.
Seriously, where was this team last week against LA? Its not that LA is the FC Barcelona of the MLS, its like Houston decided to roll over in that game. Now that they have a proverbial fire lit under them, they should start gaining momentum and winning some games.
Speaking of fire, Houston Dynamo play Chicago Fire next weekend in Chicago.
The EPL title race has been blown wide open, with Chelsea and Arsenal losing and ManU getting a last second goal to put them over City. Since I'm a fan of the Red Devils, I still think ManU is gonna take the title this year.

Ngwenya offered a contract
Just as I speculated Saturday with the ejection of Landin, Joe "El Pantera Negra" Ngwenya was offered a contract today. Now all we wait on is if Turkish club Antalyaspor will release him. I'm just glad Dom and the rest of the staff recognized how well he can still play.
Also, it came to my attention that Blogger didnt like how I tried to put in links, so I'll repost.

Well, this is awkward....
uh, so yeah, its week 3 and I'm finally getting back here. (Bad blogger, bad!) so here we go.
New CBA! :D So the season actually commenced!
Week 1 (Houston at FC Frisco)
CHEWY SCORED! and then Cunningham scored. Oh well, we still came out of Frisco with a point.
Week 2 (RSL at Houston)
Olave got his ass saved. Landin can dive like an Olympic Champion, and Brad Davis can put away a PK like no other. Defense was a little disappointing by letting in a goal first, but hey, we still came away with 3 points.
Week 3 (LAG at Houston)
First game I attended this season :D Sadly, first game they lost as well. The blaming of Ginge commences. Met up with some of the American Soccer Show crew there, Commie of "Fauxhawks Never Die" on tumblr, and Brian Zygo of 1560 The Game's Orange Slice show. Aside from that, defense blew it. lost 2-0, and I still hate Edson Buddle.
Houston also has Joseph Ngwenya of 2007 MLS Cup fame coming back for a week on trial. With Landin out this week, Ching out for a while due to injury, and well, Killer Cam being questionable as always, I think he will be signed and soon Landin going back to Mexico.
Dynamo host Chivas USA next week. Will be at home watching it.
Also, I will plug my new-found friends blogs, check these out.
